Our Story

Zenj Motors was founded in 2022 by a group of passionate Ugandan entrepreneurs who recognized the urgent need for sustainable mobility solutions in Uganda. What started as a small electric vehicle dealership has grown into a comprehensive social enterprise that's transforming communities across the country.

Our founders witnessed firsthand how transportation challenges and environmental concerns were limiting economic opportunities, especially in urban areas like Kampala. They envisioned a business model that would not only provide affordable electric vehicles but also create jobs, promote environmental sustainability, and reinvest profits into community development.

Today, Zenj Motors stands at the forefront of Uganda's electric mobility revolution, with a network of showrooms, service centers, and training programs that are empowering thousands of Ugandans while reducing carbon emissions.
